The Nonprofit Brain Trust is a member of the Nonprofit Advisory Council (NAC), a consortium of business professionals who work with the nonprofit industry in Southern California. NAC provides educational programs and communications on financial, human resources, management, legal, insurance, tax, compliance and development issues impacting nonprofit organizations.
NAC produces quarterly seminars that focus on emerging issues, important updates and significant trends in management, operations, sustainability and governance for nonprofit organizations. Seminars are held at various locations throughout the metro-Los Angeles area and are always free of charge.
The NAC 2011-12 Seminar Series begins September 22 at its new location in the Pacific Center in Downtown Los Angeles. Seminar topics will focus on Negotiating Nonprofit Executives Compensation and Nonprofit Fundraising Tax Rules and Regulations.
